WIN: A brilliant book-filled family day out at Dubray StoryFest

Have your book signed by Chris Judge, take a selfie with The Gruffalo and get a hug from a Hugglewug.

DO YOU HAVE a mini bookworm in your house? Are bedtime stories your family’s favourite part of the day? Then be sure to mark Saturday September 29 in your diary, as that’s when the first ever Dubray StoryFest arrives at Airfield Estate.

Organised by independent Irish booksellers Dubray, StoryFest will be a day of interactive author and illustrator events, along with storytelling, drawing, book-inspired yoga, lullabies for babies, face-painting and dressing up, all in the fantastic farm setting of Airfield Estate in Dundrum.

We have two family passes to give away to Dubray Story Fest, each worth €30 and covering two adults and two children for entrance to Airfield and access to events on the day. 

Meet Don Conroy, Lonely Beast author Chris Judge, Hugglewug creator Niamh Sharkey. and the brains behind The President’s Cat, Peter Donnelly. Cathy Cassidy and Judi Curtin will be making friendship jewellery, illustrators Alan Nolan and Oisin McGann will be leading draw-along sessions, and attendees will even be able to take a selfie with The Gruffalo.

The day will culminate in the StoryFest Extravaganza at 3pm, featuring music from Inni-K and the Supertones Choir and contributions from many of the authors of the day, followed by a Giant Book Signing in the bookshop.

Dubray StoryFest runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday September 29 at Airfield Estate. Tickets available here. Children under three years go free and do not require a ticket.

Prize is 2 family passes (1 pass per winner) to Dubray StoryFest on September 29 at Airfield Estate. Some events are specifically designed for children on the autistic spectrum or have limited capacity.
